The Cold Hand
Paul is a cab driver. He drives all night long to support his two daughters who go to college. Although Paul gets tired sometimes, his love for his children keeps him on the go.
Paul drives along Elm Road one night. This place is known to be haunted by spirits and ghosts. He doesn’t have a choice but to pass through it. It is the only way he can reach his frequent customer’s house.
While he drives, Paul suddenly feels a cold hand touch his shoulders. Paul is afraid, but he just keeps on driving.
The hand touches his hand then his head. This time, Paul is already frightened. The invisible hand takes the wheel and drives the car to a place Paul doesn’t know. He doesn’t have any control of the cab.
Finally, he reaches a small house. He hears a woman screaming from inside. Paul goes to the house and sees a woman who is about to give birth. She is alone in that house. Paul hurriedly carries the woman to the cab and drives to the nearest hospital. The woman gives birth safely.
Paul still wonders who touched him. Other cab drivers say that the woman’s husband had a car accident on that road and died.
Paul is happy to help someone. It is an unforgettable experience.
